Porsche is bringing even more heat this summer with the introduction of their brand new 911 GT3 R. Poised as a car in direct competition with news of the Ferrari 296 GT3, this Porsche is based on the architecture of the 992, with a larger engine to start.

This engine produces an outstanding 557HP in a water cool flat six, coupled to a six-speed sequential constant-mesh gearbox. To handle maneuverability, and stopping power for the enhanced engine, Porsche continued its design with an in-depth modification of the suspension, and AP racing brake calipers to bring this force to a safe halt.

The body of the brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R is very lightweight due to a design of aluminum-steel composite. The construction also has extensive carbon fiber construction, and is available for preorder now. Customers will get their 911 GT3 R just in time for the 2023 racing season for around $524,000 at Porsche.
